Pro Tips: Sun Awareness Week

It's Sun Awareness Week so I'm sharing my Pro Tips on spotting the signs of sun damaged skin and which products to use to heal and protect.

How To Spot Sun Damage

Dark spots: Prolonged exposure to the sun can cause an increase in melanin production, leading to the development of dark spots or patches on the skin.

Wrinkles: Sun damage can cause premature age and the development of fine lines and wrinkles.

Dry, rough skin: Sun exposure can cause the skin to become dry, rough, and flaky.

Uneven tone: You may notice uneven pigmentation, resulting in a mottled or blotchy appearance.

Redness: Prolonged sun exposure can cause redness and inflammation.

Protect From Further Damage

Use products containing vitamin C: Thanks to its antioxidant properties, vitamin C helps our bodies fight free radicals and the damage caused by UV radiation. To ensure you’re getting your daily dose, you'll find it in my Divine Cream moisturiser, my Cleanse & Foam and my Inner Divine supplements.

Hydrate your skin: Sun-damaged skin tends to be dry, so include my three Hydrogels in your daily routine. They instantly hydrate and soothe and repair, minimising redness and inflammation..

Next level skincare: I find regularly using my Bee Peel helps to resurface and even my skin tone. It also minimises the visibility of lines, dark spots, blemishes and enlarged pores to leave your complexion feeling smoother and plumper.

Eat a healthy diet: A healthy diet can help to nourish your skin from the inside out. Focus on eating foods that are rich in protective antioxidants, such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
