If you've spent the last four months counting down the hours until spas are allowed to open then believe me, you're not alone. After the Government announced last week that we could open the doors of flagship Shifnal salon we have been inundated with bookings. Many of us are feeling the need to be pampered and so being able to look after our clients in person again couldn't come a minute too soon.

Lockdown may have meant quality time with the family but it also meant endless rounds of cooking and cleaning and, most importantly, not finding space for that essential "me" time. You know as well as I do that a visit to your favourite salon is an escape; it's a sanctuary to relax away from the day to day chores, stress and worries.

Obviously there are countless guidelines to ensure we can offer a safe and professional environment, but we will not be scrimping on the luxury you have come to expect from Heaven.

I have carried out extensive training with our therapists to ensure treatments are just as fabulous as ever. In fact, they have been practising so much that I think we are now able to offer the best massage imaginable with gloves on. And because we are a medispa, masks have been something we have always used; cleanliness is in our DNA. And when it comes to our manicures and pedicures, you will have your own emery board that you take away with you, as well as a choice to have a newly purchased varnish for each treatment.

But of course, a trip to our salon is much more than just the treatment itself. It's a time to enjoy an afternoon with a friend or catch up with your favourite therapist while being thoroughly spoilt. We always given nibbles and drinks out to clients, but the new regulations mean we have had to make changes here too, so you will get your own individual bottle and some wrapped treats to enjoy. We will still have our super soft throws but you will be able to take yours home and bring it back for your next treatment. We are also extending appointment times and our hours to ensure everything is fully sanitised in between. If you are coming with a friend, we can arrange for you to have your treatments on the same floor; and if that person is in your social bubble you can pre-book to have your treatments together.

Due to the additional costs of PPE and extra hours many salons have put their prices up, but we haven't. We love looking after you so much that we want to you feel that love too. We can't wait to welcome you back.
