As we get older our faces inevitable start to show signs of ageing, whether it’s a sagging jawline, discolouration or wrinkles. But one area that many of my clients feel really ages them is around their eyes.
Dark circles most commonly appear when we are tired, dehydrated or had one too many tipples, while eye bags are caused by fluid that creates a small amount of swelling and can be exacerbated by sleeping on our front or having too much salt in our diet. You can often tackle these with a cold compress, upping our water intake and getting a good night’s sleep.
Tear troughs are a more noticeable issue – these are the deeps hollows underneath the eyes that occur thanks to our lifestyle choices, ageing or simple being predisposed to them.
EYE CREAMS
Your everyday moisturisers or serums will be too heavy and cause sagging around the eyes so opt for a specific cream that’s gentle yet effective enough to tackle fine lines, bags and puffiness.
