Our latest Facebook Live was packed with brilliant skincare advice, product recommendations and answers to your most frequently asked questions.
If you couldn't join us live—you can rewatch it here, or you'd like a quick reminder of Deborah's advice—you'll find all the highlights below.
Your Skin Changes – So Should Your Routine
One of the biggest takeaways from the live session was that your skin is constantly changing.
Stress, hormones, the seasons, age and lifestyle can all affect what your skin needs. Rather than sticking rigidly to the same routine, take a moment to look at your skin each day and choose products that suit how it looks and feels at that moment.
Not every product will be right for every stage of your skincare journey, and that's completely normal.
Why Everyone Should Be Using a Serum
According to Deborah, a serum is one of the most important steps in any skincare routine.
The key is choosing the right one for your skin type.
- Dry skin benefits from a hydrating serum to replenish moisture and improve comfort.
- Oily or combination skin should choose a balancing serum to help regulate excess oil while keeping the skin hydrated.
Serums deliver concentrated ingredients deeper into the skin, making them an essential part of a results-driven skincare routine.
Q&A Highlights
Q. How can I treat white bumps under my skin, and improve old scarring on my chin?
One of the first questions Deborah answered was about white spots (milia) and scarring around the chin.
Deborah explained that some scarring can be linked to reduced collagen within the skin. Supporting the skin's natural renewal process can help improve the appearance of these areas over time.
Her recommendations included:
- Taking Collagen as part of your daily wellness routine to support healthy skin.
- Using Bee Peel as an exfoliating treatment. Deborah recommends applying it three consecutive times initially when focusing on stubborn scarring before reducing use to a few times each week.
- For a more intensive exfoliation, apply Bee Polish over the top of Bee Peel. Once the skin has improved, Bee Polish can be used daily to help maintain smoother-looking skin.
Consistency is key, and improvements take time.
Q. I have lip lines and wonder if there is any genuine product that will help smooth them and help with dryness?
Dry lips were another popular topic.
Deborah explained that dehydrated lips often indicate that your body needs more hydration overall.
Her top tips included:
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Some people find adding a small pinch of salt to water helpful for hydration.*
- Lip lines can often appear more noticeable when the skin is dehydrated.
- Apply Eye Cream around the lip area to help keep the skin feeling hydrated.
- Vanilla Pod is Deborah's favourite recommendation for nourishing dry lips.
*If you have been advised to limit your salt intake, always follow your healthcare professional's advice.
Q. How can I help reduce puffiness around the eyes?
Questions about puffy eyes and the delicate eye area came up several times during the live.
Deborah recommends using a dedicated Eye Cream, with Nettle Eyes being one of her personal favourites for keeping the eye area looking refreshed and hydrated.
Q. What can I do for Rosacea?
One of Deborah's standout recommendations was the Silver Bee Venom Mask.
She described it as one of her favourite products for mature-looking skin and skin prone to redness.
For more intensive results, Deborah recommends applying it in the evening over your normal moisturiser as an overnight treatment.
Q. Do you have any recommendations for men?
Men's skin deserves dedicated skincare too.
Deborah recommends the M4M Men's Moisturiser, explaining that many products marketed to men contain high levels of silicone that can make skin feel smooth without delivering long-term skincare benefits.
She also recommends Collagen for men as part of a healthy skincare and haircare routine.
Q. What skincare should teens be using?
Many people asked whether Heaven Skincare products are suitable for younger skin.
The answer is yes.
That's why we've created our Teen Mini Skin Kits including our Clarifying Collection, and our Soothe & Recover Kit providing a simple skincare routine designed specifically with teenage skin in mind.
Q. What can I do to help my psoriasis?
Deborah shared the routine she often recommends for skin affected by psoriasis.
Her suggested routine includes:
- Bee Polish
- Age Defiance (morning)
- Overnight Cream (evening)
- Body Firming Cream for the body
Everyone's skin is different, so results can vary. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, it's always a good idea to discuss your skincare routine with your healthcare professional.
Q. How can I reduce the appearance of crepey skin?
If you're concerned about crepey skin on the arms or other areas of the body, Deborah recommends a combination of regular exfoliation and hydration.
Her routine includes:
- Daily Bee Polish
- Body Firming Cream
Regular exfoliation helps remove dull, dead skin cells while moisturising supports smoother, softer-looking skin.
Q. Any products to support hormonal skin changes?
Hormonal fluctuations can often show up around the chin and jawline.
Deborah discussed using:
If you're experiencing persistent hormonal skin concerns, it's worth discussing them with your healthcare professional to understand the underlying cause.
Q. If I want to improve hair health & overall wellness what is recommended?
Healthy skin often starts from within.
Deborah highlighted two supplements she regularly recommends:
Collagen Drops
Collagen forms part of the body's natural structure and is often included in wellness routines to support healthy skin and hair.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D plays an important role in overall health and wellbeing. Many adults in the UK benefit from supplementation, particularly during the autumn and winter months. If you're unsure whether you need a supplement, speak with your GP or pharmacist.
