While holidays abroad may not be on the cards for many this year, that hasn’t stopped me dreaming of white, sandy beaches and crystal blue seas. In fact, thoughts of travelling got me thinking about what my desert island beauty must-haves would be.
First up is my Cleanse & Foam Wash because it’s a non-abrasive exfoliator, toner and cleanser in one, making it multi-functional. It helps to improve elasticity levels as well as balancing oil levels to reduce shine on your T-Zone. Thanks to the presence of organic carrot oil – which contains healing vitamin A – it also rejuvenates and repairs the skin.
I created my range of Hydrogels to feed and water skin, perfect for when you need an instant beauty boost. They also help remove traces of makeup, soothe and repair, diminish blemishes and minimise redness and inflammation. Tackle redness and dark circles with Chamomile Hydrogel and rebalance skin with Peppermint, while Orange Flower helps maintain oil levels and helps penetrate fine lines even around the delicate eye area.
Serums are the best way to get all those skin-saving benefits where they’re most needed, thanks to the fact they penetrate deeper than a moisturiser, due to them having smaller molecules, and therefore easier and quicker for our epidermis to absorb. My Dream Oil is perfectly suited to those who suffer eczema or sensitivity as it will kill off nasty bacteria and bring the skin back to equilibrium. Added to that, the addition of lavender promotes relaxation and induces sleep.
If I’m only taking one moisturiser to my desert island then it would have to be my luxurious Divine Cream. It is suitable for all skin types but it works particularly well on more mature complexions thanks to the anti-ageing, organic mandarin and orange. Because they’re both natural sources of vitamin C, they help increase collagen and elastin levels for a more youthful appearance.
All of my desert island essentials are available in easy-to-pack travel sizes, with prices starting for just £10.
