Well that was a year to remember. From not seeing our loved ones for months on end to worries about our family's health and future, 2020 certainly threw a curve ball at every one of us.
But as an optimist, I couldn't look back over the last 12 months and not see the positives. And for me and my lovely Heaven team, we are delighted to be celebrating our most successful year yet, launching more products than ever before and seeing them sell-out on our new website.
We may have been forced to close our salons but we worked tirelessly throughout lockdown to not only develop new skincare ranges but also ensure record orders were delivered and stock levels maintained.
During 2020, we notched up a number of industry successes including:
The launch of our new vegan Nettle Venom Anti-Ageing Cream, Eye Cream and Serum, using only 100% plant-based ingredients. It proved such a hit when it launched in June that the first batch sold out in a matter of weeks and has already won a number of top awards.
Over the summer, I appeared in the Netflix documentary (Un)Well showcasing my patented Bee Venom formula. The series shows me mixing up products in my kitchen and treating one of clients at my flagship Shifnal salon.
In October we released our new Teaser Tweezers, the beauty must-haves for precision brows. Easy to use and with a firm grip, they boast slanted tweezers at one end to tackle even the finest hairs and a brush at the other.
Last month I unveiled my latest line of defence for anti-ageing – a range of supplements that work in tandem with my most sought-after products. Each of the seven vitamins and minerals is designed to promote a healthy complexion from the inside out.
And if that wasn’t enough we even found the time to re-launch our website. The new-look online store offers visitors an easy to navigate shop front as well as a host of interactive features including the best products for your skin type and a before and after selfie facility via the Heaven account page.
It seems the world really loves Heaven and we’re delighted to have reached the end of a very difficult year celebrating our success.
