WHAT IS AN EXFOLIATOR
Your skin is constantly shedding dead skin cells so that the new ones can come to the surface. However, as we get older this process begins to slow down so it’s important to give Mother Nature a helping hand. An exfoliator helps scuff away the dead cells and clears pores to leave your complexion looking more radiant and feeling healthier.
WHY DO WE NEED TO EXFOLIATE?
If we don’t remove the dead skin cells regularly then they are left to build up and this causes blocked pores, blackheads, fine lines and dryness. By exfoliating regular you are helping to speed up the skin’s natural healing process, restore clarity and lighten pigmentation.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EXFOLIATORS & PEELS
An exfoliator works only on the upper layer of your face and can be used daily to improve texture. A peel gets deeper into your skin to reveal the healthy layer beneath and really clear congestion. You can use these 1-3 times a week but do remember to read the instructions carefully as there will be a limit to how long you can leave it on your face.
GENTLE EXFOLIATORS
My Cleanse & Foam is non-abrasive exfoliator, toner and cleanser in one that I created to improve elasticity while balancing oil levels to reduce shine on your T-Zone. The presence of organic carrot oil – which contains healing vitamin A – also rejuvenates and repairs the skin. Apply with your fingers and massage into your skin for 60 seconds to really benefit, before rinsing with warm water.
The light, refreshing Bee Polish contains fruit acid, Echinacea and Aloe Vera to gently extract toxins without harming the outer layer of the skin. It also boosts the immunity of the skin, making it ideal for those who suffer with acne. Start with a small amount on your fingertips and massage into the skin, working from your nose outwards before washing off with warm water.
SKIN PEELS
I invented my innovative Bee Peel to really tighten and firm skin as it works its way through dead skin cells, improving pigmentation, lines, scars, dark spots and blemishes. It contains my ABEETOXIN® formula, organic coconut and raw cane sugar to help resurface and even out tone.
DID YOU KNOW?
If you have oily skin you may find you need to exfoliate more than someone who has dry skin. And do it in the evening, because your skin is more effective at re-balancing its natural pH level at night time.
